چکیده

The title structure, C(22)H(22)BrNOS(2), is a triclinic modification. Whereas the other reported modification crystallizes with just one mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit, the present modification has Z' = 2. The six-membered cyclo-hexene ring adopts an envelope conformation, with the C atom bearing the two methyl groups representing the flap. This atom deviates by 0.674 (4) Å from the plane passing through the other five atoms of the ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.027 Å). For the second independent mol-ecule, the deviation is 0.669 (3) Å and the r.m.s. deviation is 0.010 Å. The mol-ecular conformation of both mol-ecules is stabilized by intra-molecular N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds.

The six-membered cyclo-hexene ring in the title compound, C(22)H(22)BrNOS(2), adopts an envelope conformation, with the C atom bearing the two methyl groups representing the flap. This atom deviates by 0.686 (4) Å from the plane passing through the other five atoms of the ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.025 Å). The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an intra-molecular N-H⋯S hydrogen bond.

N-(4-Methoxybenzyl)phthalimide: a triclinic polymorph

THE TITLE COMPOUND [SYSTEMATIC NAME: 2-(4-meth-oxy-benz-yl)-isoindoline-1,3-dione], C(16)H(13)NO(3), represents a triclinic polymorph of the previously reported monoclinic form [Warzecha et al. (2006 ▶). Acta Cryst. E62, o5450-o5452]. The reaction of potassium phthalimide and 4-meth-oxy-benzyl chloride in dimethyl-formamide gave platelet-shaped crystals; these were harvested and then needle-sha...

The six-membered cyclo-hexene ring in the title compound, C(26)H(38)BrNOS(2), adopts an envelope conformation, with the C atom bearing the two methyl groups representing the flap. This atom deviates by 0.651 (3) Å from the plane passing through the other five atoms of the ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.051 Å). The mol-ecular conformation is stabilized by an N-H⋯S hydrogen bond. In the title compound, C(25)H(32)O(7), the 3-hy-droxy-5,5-dimethyl-cyclo-hex-2-enone rings adopt slightly distorted envelope conformations with the two planes at the base of the envelope forming dihedral angles of 57.6 (4) and 53.9 (9)° with the benzene ring. There is an intra-molecular hy-droxy-ketone O-H⋯O inter-action between the two substituted cyclo-hexane rings as well as a short intra-mo...

Triclinic polymorph of 4-[4-(4-formylphenoxy)butoxy]benzaldehyde

The title compound, C18H18O4, is a triclinic polymorph of the previously reported monoclinic polymorph [Han & Zhen (2005 ▶). Acta Cryst. E61, o4358-o4359]. In the crystal of the triclinic polymorph, molecules are linked by two pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network parallel to (102), and enclosing loops with graph set motifs of R2(2)(8) and R2(2)(6).
